Breyer Elvis Collection
Elvis the Horseman! Since December of 1966, horses have been a part of Graceland when Elvis bought Pricilla a horse for a Christmas gift. Soon after, everyone in the family had a horse! Elvis' favorite was a golden palomino American Quarter Horse he named Rising Sun. After their morning ride, the pair often stopped by the gate to greet visitors and to sign autographs. Today, Graceland is home to four wonderful horses, including Max and Bandit, two rescues whose playful antics are a joy to watch; Candy, a noble black Tenessee Walking Horse; and Tucker, the resident golden palomino in honor of Elvis' favorite Rising Sun. In May 2009, Graceland Stables opened to the public for tours for the first time ever.
